I'm having company today so I won't be working on the novel! Instead I'm spending the afternoon with my daughter. Lunch, shopping, stopping for ice cream, what ever she wants is hers today!
In a few short weeks she's having my first grand baby. Our days as just the two of us are numbered. 
Soon it will be the three of us and you all know how Grandma's are with grand babies. 
Fun, fun and more fun is in store.
I'll get back to writing tomorrow.

I've been working on my 4th novel.

My Daughter ~My Angel~. 

I'm hoping it will be complete within a month. This is my 2nd mystery/romance. 

I have an idea for my 5th novel. I'm going to do a sequel to A Fork In The Road. What do ya think? Are you ready for some more antics from Lori?

Been Busy

Buford -- my hubby took some time off from work and we vacationed a little. I've got back into working on my latest novel again and hope to have it finished by the first of March. 

I have another started with great ideas for it too. Fun is in store for all.

Nothing New

I haven't blogged lately due to vacation and eye surgery.
Back to writing and hoping to have current novel finished by first of year 2013.

Working on Third Novel

I started my 3rd novel and I think you're gonna like it.
The name of it is, Who Am I?

It's not what you think.
It's not about me at all. Instead it's about a woman who wakes up after being in a coma
for a year not knowing who she is.

When she finally remembers and knows who put her in the hospital, the story takes some twists
and turns.

I hope to have it complete by early 2013.

Novel

Novel is coming along nicely.
I am currently re-reading and some re-writing.

I'll proof and re-proof (if there is such a word).
Once I say it's ready, I'll put it on creatspace
and make it available for Kindle users.

My proof-reader is no longer helping.
She wanted me to re-write some parts that I don't feel
need re-writing. 'Enough of that.'

She did give me some good tips and I've applied them.

I have several people reading it and another proofing it for me.

I am working as best I can on my novel. 
I've submitted the first three chapters to ten or so publishers.
Problem with publishers is, they take months to a year to get back to you.

I'm thinking I'll use createspace again if I haven't found someone 
willing to print it. 
I can always cancel the other to get my book out there for the whole world to read!

Novel is Coming Along Nicely

I'm having fun with the novel. 

It should be ready by October.  Maybe sooner!

I'm in about 125 pages and am planning on 250-300. The words are coming quicker than I can type.

I've been working almost daily on my novel. 

I'm at page 86 so far ~ I think 250 pages - 300 pages will do it so I still have a ways to go.

I called the publishing company and basically told them I was going to go postal on them if they didn't do something to make this mistake right. 

I asked for free extra copies but instead, they are having the books arrive by Wednesday! The other way I learned would have taken two more weeks.
